About the attorney
David was born in Abilene, Texas and grew up in a very athletic family. He moved to Oklahoma in 1980 to obtain his undergraduate degree while playing basketball for the University of Oklahoma and Coach Billy Tubbs. As a junior, he was the Big 8 conference scoring champion. As a senior, he finished second behind teammate Wayman Tisdale. He left the school as the No. 7 all-time scoring leader (currently 21st) despite having played only two years. He still ranks No. 7 on the all-time scoring average per game. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the 3rd round of the 1983 NBA Draft.
David obtained his law degree from Oklahoma City University in 1991 and began practicing with the firm of Lampkin, McCaffrey and Tawwater. In 1999, he opened his own firm in Bricktown and has been representing people across Oklahoma since that time. He has also handled cases in Texas, California, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Michigan, and several other jurisdictions.
